Mr. and Mrs. Canon Cornelius - former Victoria Thomas

Victoria Baker Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Thomas III of Charleston, West Virginia and Canon Croft Cornelius, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Cornelius of Burkburnett, Texas were married on Saturday, 17 June 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas with Dr. Mike Marshall and Dr. John Mark Day officiating.

The bride’s sister, Alexandra Thomas, served as maid of honor and Chandler Cornelius, sister of the groom, was a bridesmaid. Blake Andrews, brother of the bride, was an usher and his daughter, Harper Andrews, was a flower girl. Campbell Robinson was best man.

Victoria is a graduate of Charleston Catholic High School in Charleston, West Virginia. She graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in strategic communication. Victoria also holds a M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina and now works as an event consultant for Belle Events in Houston, Texas.

Canon is a graduate of Burkburnett High School in Burkburnett, Texas. He graduated cum laude as a Chancellor’s Scholar from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Canon is completing his third year of medical school at the University of Texas at Houston and plans to specialize in orthopedic surgery.

After their honeymoon to St. John, Victoria and Canon returned to their home in Houston.
