|Joseph J. Baldwin and Ronda N. Burkhart were joined together in the sacred vows
of marriage on the 3rd day of September in the year of 2016. The ceremony took
place in Charleston on the West Virginia State Capitol steps with the Rev.
Robert Otey officiating.
The Bride is the daughter of Tina Marie Whittington and Stephen Matthew
Burkhart, of Sissonville. She is a graduate of West Virginia State University
with a bachelor’s degree in history. She is employed by National Travel in
The Groom is the son of Ronald Wayne and Deborah Lynn Beheler Baldwin, of
Charleston. He is a graduate of West Virginia State University with a
bachelor’s degree in history. He is a recent graduate from the University of
Toledo College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. He has since returned home to
the Mountain state, and is now a practicing attorney in Charleston.
The maid of honor was Andrea Ross, childhood friend of the bride. The
bridesmaids were Shonda Godbey and Tianna Casdorph, sisters of the bride;
Candice Flack, Marisa Jaworski, and Cortney Watts, close friends of the bride.
The best man was Ronald Baldwin, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were
Joshua Workman, Jawaun Hairston, James Booker, Matthew Gunn, and Timothy Hatt,
all close friends of the groom.
The flower girls were Leona Parker, niece of the groom, and Annie Oakley,
cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Hayden Ross, son of the maid of honor.
The reception was at the Women’s Club of Charleston. After returning from their
honeymoon, the couple will continue to reside on the West Side of Charleston.
